Last updated: May 2025

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply to all orders placed on the website https://blazeblockcompany.com/ by consumer or professional clients.

1. Seller Identification

BlazeBlock EI
Registered office: Saint Hilaire De Riez, FRANCE
SIRET: 90443534400018
Email: blazeblock85@gmail.com
Publication Manager: Mr. Gerard Antony / CEO

2. Products

BlazeBlock designs, manufactures, and sells preventive fire protection devices, primarily the HydroDome ramp, designed to limit the spread of outdoor fires by creating a peripheral water curtain around a building and watering the roof surface.

Our products are intended for domestic or professional outdoor use, and are designed to operate as follows:

  • Connected to a pressurized network or an external pump

  • Or to a pool, tank, water cistern, reservoir, or well… anything that contains clean water

Each product is tested to ensure its compliance with safety standards and the announced technical specifications.

The detailed technical specifications, installation advice, usage conditions, and specific limitations of each product are described on the product sheets available on the site and in the user manual included in the packaging.
The customer is required to review them in full before placing an order to ensure the product is suitable for their needs and intended use.

Photographs, visuals, diagrams, and 3D renderings shown on the site are for illustrative purposes only and have no contractual value.
Minor differences may occur between visuals and the actual product, especially depending on manufacturing batches or continuous technical improvements.

In case of doubt, the customer is invited to contact BlazeBlock before placing an order.

3. Prices

The prices of the products sold on the site https://blazeblockcompany.com/ are listed in US Dollars, all taxes included (TTC), at the time of order.

They include delivery fees, which are specified during final order confirmation and are not billed additionally.
The total amount due is clearly displayed before confirmation.

BlazeBlock reserves the right to change its prices at any time without prior notice. However, products will be billed based on the pricing in effect at the time the order is registered by the customer.

In the event of a clearly incorrect displayed price, regardless of the reason (IT bug, manual error, etc.), BlazeBlock reserves the right to cancel the order, even if it has been validated and paid.
The customer will then be fully refunded.

Occasional promotional offers may be made. These offers are valid for the stated period and within the limit of available stock. BlazeBlock reserves the right to modify or cancel any offer without prior notice.

During the pre-order period and in case of order cancellation by the customer, BlazeBlock reserves the right to retain 10 to 15% of the total price including tax as logistical fees (for custom part orders, etc.), provided this clause was accepted as part of the general terms and conditions at the time of order.

In the case of a product return outside the scope of the right of withdrawal (commercial return or goodwill gesture), BlazeBlock reserves the right to apply a maximum deduction of 20% of the total amount paid (TTC), corresponding to administrative and logistical fees (such as shipping). This deduction will only be applied with the client’s prior agreement at the time of order.

Additionally, in the event of a non-compliant return (damaged product, incomplete, or without its original packaging), BlazeBlock may, in accordance with Article L.221-23 of the French Consumer Code, apply a depreciation deduction reflecting the observed damage.

The customer agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information. BlazeBlock cannot be held responsible for the consequences of errors in the provided information (especially incorrect delivery address).

If a product is unavailable after order confirmation, BlazeBlock will inform the customer as soon as possible and will offer either a refund or an equivalent product.

  • An invoice is available after the order is validated and is sent by email.

6. Delivery

Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer when placing the order.

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of their information before confirmation.

In the event of an error or incomplete address, BlazeBlock cannot be held responsible for any delivery delays or failures.

  • Deliveries are made by a third-party carrier (UPS) selected by BlazeBlock.
Estimated delivery times are generally 15 to 28 business days for shipments to the United States, including the pre-order period.
These times may vary depending on product availability, delivery location, or exceptional circumstances (strikes, weather conditions, etc.).

BlazeBlock will do its best to meet the announced deadlines, but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the carrier or in case of force majeure.

  • Shipping fees are already included in the final price displayed on the site.

Upon receiving the package, the customer must inspect the condition of the product.

In case of damage (broken product, damaged packaging, missing item), the customer must clearly note any claims on the delivery slip and notify BlazeBlock within 48 hours, including supporting photos.

In case of loss, delivery error, or logistical dispute, BlazeBlock commits to conducting an investigation with the carrier and keeping the customer informed.

If the carrier is found responsible, a new product will be shipped or a refund offered to the customer, as applicable.

7. Withdrawal (for individual consumers)

In accordance with the law, the customer has a 14-day period from the date of receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without needing to justify their decision.

To exercise this right, the customer must contact BlazeBlock at the email address: blazeblock85@gmail.com

The product must be returned at the customer’s expense, in its original packaging and in perfect condition.

8. Warranties

Our products come with two statutory legal warranties, at no extra cost to the customer:

  • Legal warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code), valid for 2 years from the delivery date.
This warranty covers defects that render the product unsuitable for its intended use or that do not match the contractual description.

  • Warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), applicable within 2 years after discovering the defect.
This warranty covers non-visible defects present at the time of purchase that render the product unusable or severely limit its intended use.

To file a claim, the customer must contact BlazeBlock by email (blazeblock85@gmail.com), providing a description of the issue, photos if necessary, and proof of purchase.

After assessment, BlazeBlock will offer the customer the choice of: repair, replacement, or full refund of the product.
Return shipping costs under warranty are covered by BlazeBlock.

These warranties apply provided that the product was used under normal conditions and in accordance with the instructions provided in the manual and on the website.
Any damage resulting from misuse, non-compliant use, or lack of maintenance is excluded from the warranty.

9. Liability

BlazeBlock cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from improper, inappropriate, or non-compliant use of its products.
This includes, in particular:

  • Excessive water pressure exceeding the specified technical limits

  • Installation on an unstable or unsuitable surface

  • Use in the presence of an active fire, in violation of safety instructions

  • Unauthorized modification or alteration of components

It is the user's responsibility to ensure that:

  • The product is used under the intended conditions (outdoor use only)

  • The water source and mounting system are suitable for the configuration of the building

  • The ramp is regularly maintained to ensure proper operation

BlazeBlock declines all responsibility in case of damage resulting from natural or exceptional climatic events (strong winds, extreme heatwaves, etc.) affecting product performance.

Under no circumstances shall BlazeBlock be held liable for any loss of business, data loss, loss of profits, or any other indirect or intangible damage resulting from the use of its products.

The user remains responsible for assessing fire risks and evacuation measures. The HydroDome ramp is a preventive and complementary device, and does not replace emergency services or fire alarm systems.

10. Personal Data

The personal data collected during the ordering process is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see link in the page footer).

11. Disputes

In the event of a dispute related to the execution, interpretation, or validity of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the customer is invited to first send a complaint to BlazeBlock by email at the following address: blazeblock85@gmail.com.
BlazeBlock commits to responding to all requests within a reasonable timeframe and to seeking an amicable resolution.

If no amicable solution is reached within 30 days, the customer has the right to refer the matter, free of charge, to a consumer mediator, in accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code.
The competent mediator can be contacted via the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If no amicable resolution is possible, any dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
For professional clients, the court with jurisdiction over BlazeBlock's registered office will have exclusive competence.

12. Governing Law

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law, to the exclusion of any other legislation. They are written in French, which is the only legally binding version in the event of a dispute.

In the event of a disagreement regarding the interpretation, execution, or validity of these GTCS, only French courts shall have jurisdiction.
For professional clients, the commercial court in the jurisdiction of BlazeBlock's registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

The customer acknowledges having read all applicable legal provisions related to their purchase and agrees that placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
